Bottleneck Breakthrough Workshop
A focused starter session that helps a team identify the bottlenecks slowing work down and agree the first improvements worth making.
Recognise any of these?
- Work regularly gets stuck
- Nobody quite knows who owns the next step
- Staff repeat the same frustrations
- Managers spend too much time chasing work
- Processes have grown more complicated over time
- Everyone is busy but output still feels slow
Your team works on the real issue.
- Map where work is getting stuck
- Identify delays, unnecessary handoffs and repeat touches
- Surface unclear ownership and recurring frustrations
- Prioritise the issues with the greatest operational impact
- Agree named owners and immediate next steps
Useful outputs, not a folder of slides.
- A shared picture of the biggest bottlenecks
- A prioritised improvement action plan
- Clear ownership for the first actions
- A practical basis for follow-up
A complete team session, not just time in the room.
Operational teams, managers and service teams
Suggested group size: 4–16 people. We can adapt the format where a different group size is more appropriate.
Before you book
Is this a lecture?
No. These are facilitated working sessions. Your people work on real workplace situations, decisions and challenges.
Can the session be tailored?
Yes. The pre-session brief is used to make the exercises relevant to your team and challenge.
What preparation is needed?
A short pre-session brief helps us understand the team, the challenge and the outcome you want. Where useful, bring existing process documents, examples or performance information.
Do we have to buy consultancy afterwards?
No. Every session is designed to create standalone value. You can take the outputs and implement them internally. If you want support afterwards, it is optional.
What happens after the session?
You receive the agreed outputs and a short follow-up check-in. If the issue needs deeper support, workflow audit, process optimisation and implementation support are available as an optional next step.
