Step Up to Lead
Practical Skills for New & Aspiring Managers
A real-world management day covering expectations, delegation, one-to-ones, feedback, workload, accountability and the shift from colleague to leader.
Recognise any of these?
- A new manager is still trying to do everyone’s work
- Former peers test boundaries
- Delegation feels uncomfortable
- One-to-ones drift into status updates
- Managers avoid accountability for fear of damaging morale
- Priorities are unclear or constantly changing

Before you book
Is this a lecture?
No. These are facilitated working sessions. Your people work on real workplace situations, decisions and challenges.
Can the session be tailored?
Yes. The pre-session brief is used to make the exercises relevant to your team and challenge.
What preparation is needed?
A short pre-session brief helps us understand the team, the challenge and the outcome you want. Where useful, bring existing process documents, examples or performance information.
Do we have to buy consultancy afterwards?
No. Every session is designed to create standalone value. You can take the outputs and implement them internally. If you want support afterwards, it is optional.
What happens after the session?
You receive the agreed outputs and a short follow-up check-in. If the issue needs deeper support, workflow audit, process optimisation and implementation support are available as an optional next step.
